The successful applicant will be responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets through inbound and outbound telephonic selling. The successful incumbent will be required to actively sell long term insurance products specifically have funeral plans within a pressurised environment.

The position will be based at Roodepoort and Randburg.

The ideal applicant will have the following qualifications and experience:
• Grade 12 /Matric
• FAIS Compliant - Minimum 30 Credits an advantage
• Credit & Criminal Clear
• Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience in an outbound call centre environment [Telesales of funeral plans]

Key Performance Areas:
• Receive inbound calls and sell long term insurance products
• Conduct outbound calls and sell long term insurance products
• Will have to be proven closers with ability to convince client’s to accept product
• Ability to accurately assess customer needs and potential, identify and deal with objections that may arise
• Be comfortable with the sales process and show the ability to meet targets
• Ability to sell high volumes of policies whilst insuring call of high quality
• Ability to handle complaints as well as conflict telephonically
• Attention to detail
• Maintain and develop professional selling skills
