Bachelor of Commerce Graduate in Accounting, Economics and Taxation with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and a higher certificate in Total Quality Management (TQM). ▪ Current studies – expected completion 2021: ❖ Master of Laws (Tax) at the University of KwaZulu Natal (All modules completed, currently finalising my research paper). ▪ Extensive Audit and Investigative Audit experience at the South African Revenue Services - (11 years). ▪ Risk & compliance management experience at the South African Revenue Services as an Operational Manager: Compliance & Risk - (4 years). ▪ Extensive strategic leadership qualities from management roles. I have strong people management skills, as well as strategic planning and forecasting abilities. My academic studies as well as functional business experience have afforded me excellent leadership, communication, planning and organization skills, with a strong aptitude to deliver on service, performing at a level above set organizational goals. With over 10 years at the South African Revenue Services, I have acquired strong technical skills in the various taxes administered by SARS, and an understanding of governance policies through managing the SARS Risk and Compliance division within Compliance Audit. I am currently running my own entrepreneurial business venture, which I kick-started at the beginning of 2019. This includes a logistics and delivery service company, a hair and beauty salon as well as Tax consulting on an ad-hoc part time basis.
