I started Z Connect Service Solutions (Pty) Ltd in 2018 as an independent company that supports Facilities Management, Property Management and other private companies with varied services in facilities and building services. I offer a plug-in-and-play service where companies do not have capacity or resources. The rate per hour or cost per project is dependent on the project, skill, experience and qualification required. I currently operate in South Africa and have the ability to assist in Middle East Africa. My business is based on CONNECTING the best, with the best. 1. Consulting Services I have a range of independent consultants across South Africa that can be deployed. I am not a recruitment agency. All consultants are independent, experienced, qualified and specialises in their specific fields i.e. engineering etc. When I do not have capacity or if projects are very big, I tap into this group. Every consultant signs an NDA and Agreements with Z-Connect specific to a Client’s Project. 2. Facilities Management Z-Connect is not a Facilities Management company, however supports companies with facilities management services especially where there is a lack of resources or capacity. These services have a wide reach and is summarised as follows: 2.1. Tenders (RFP’s) • Supporting and assisting Facilities Management companies with Tenders for submission. o Site walks o Client briefing sessions o Solutioning services o Obtain contractors and quotes – where applicable o Write-ups o Proof reading o Presentation – where applicable 2.2. Benchmarking /cost comparisons The methodology employed depends on the service lines or items to be benchmarked and will be discussed with the client in each instance. 5. Adjudication of Service Provider Tenders/Quotes We have an in-depth knowledge of facilities management and the various services and estimated costs required in a building or Portfolio. 6. Project Management We have various consultants across South Africa to assist and support with Project Management. Each project has its own unique requirement. The consultant and related costs will be project dependent. 7. Design Agreements In some cases, Service Provider Agreements are required to be a Back-to-back agreement. We assist the client by ensuring we read and understand the Master Agreement and write the necessary flow-downs into the Service Provider Agreement. We work closely with a client’s legal team or representative. Tender documents We assist clients in developing Tender Documents to put out in the market. We work closely with the client to ensure our thorough understanding of their business and service requirements. 9. Cleaning Advisory Services Advisory services in the contract cleaning environment aims to be beneficial to both the client and contractor. We achieve this by providing solutions and recommendations that are practical and sustainable, whilst having a clear understanding that it must be beneficial to all stakeholders not only client & contractor, but employees, facility users and other stakeholders. • Assisting clients to identify non-tangible outcomes a cleaning service provides i.e., protection of assets, Health & Safety, workplace comfort, increased customer satisfaction etc. • Workflows and work models, employee counts, productivity review • Financial aspects related to cleaning environment, costings, employee remuneration. • Ensuring contracts and actual outputs are aligned and practical. • Provide input into technologies, equipment, chemicals, and consumables used in current process and if changes can improve product and experiences. • Check / Revise cleaning methodologies, the old saying still applies “Cleaning is effective when it becomes a habit”. • Reviewing SLA & KPI to ensure practical and achievable.
