I have worked for this company almost a year and a half and I had a good relationship with all my colleagues and the senior staff. The only problem I had with them and the reason for me leaving was because they don't like paying their workers. There are times on end that we have to go away 2 o'clock in the morning and no transport is made available to the staff. And then every second weekend we go away. And what do you get paid? R11.60 an hour. What about the guys that has families and things to pay? And for going away you don't even get compensated if anything should happen to you. I am so sad that those people whom I left behind has to work under such circumstances. To top it off, the managers want more people to be employed so that the remaining staff will not get paid better so that they can be laid-off. I don't think that is fair to the guys who have been working there longer than the others. I hope they wake up before they tend to lose all there staff. It's not worth it, risking your life and you don't get paid a decent salary. Please look after your staff, they also work hard and want to earn an honest living.
