andBeyond is one of the world’s leading luxury experiential travel companies. They create exceptional adventures in some of Africa and India’s most beautiful natural kingdoms. Conservation Corporation Africa (the company’s former name) is globally recognised as one of the world’s pioneering luxury responsible travel companies. They changed their name to andBeyond in 2008. With their roots in Africa, the company runs 33 safari lodges and camps. Through this, they sustain hundreds of rural communities and millions of acres of precious, and sometimes endangered wildlife. Their passion for the earth’s natural highspots has taken them into the jungles and tiger country of India, where they operate four lodges. In the early 1990s andBeyond began with an ambitious project in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The project was called Phinda- the Zulu word for ‘the return’. It became the most compelling realisation of the dream of creating sustainable conservation through responsible tourism. After Phinda, andBeyond established the Rural Investment Fund, now knows as andBeyond Foundation. andBeyond continued to expand their portfolio of superior safari lodges from 1995 and moved into Kenya, Zimbabwe and Tanzania. The company merged with two travel outfits (Afro Ventures and Into Africa) in February. By combining, they formed one of Africa’s most comprehensive tourism companies.
