I worked for the CSIR in Pretoria from 2010-2012 and it was the best two years since I have been employed. Everything you would possibly need, you would find in the campus i.e.clinic, restaurants, photo studio, gym, banks and other things. You do not need to leave the campus to get personal things done. The CSIR does everything in its power to make sure that all the needs of their employees are met and I would like to return in the future. You also learn a lot while you're there, they're always trying to keep up with the times in terms of technology so you would see things first at work before seeing them outside of the office being done. I had the best time ever! Now that I'm writing this review, I realise how much I miss it and no place comes close to it.
Best companies to work for in the Research sector.
