DCD marine lacks good leadership and management, the management don't really care about employees only profit. There is no work/life balance, the stress level does not match the salary only the white afrikaaner white males who benefit who are all in management.

"DisappointIng career move"

I was so excited to be offered a position at DCD. I was sold a brilliant opportunity in my interview, but that's where it all ended. The company policies and procedures is outdated, that is if they even exist. Alternatively, they are in "draft". They are a very old fashioned organisation with the bulk (99% of Senior Management being middle aged - elderly White/Afrikaans) and is not a very technologically advanced organisation. They do not accept change very well and prefer to be stuck in the past. On the other hand, something that they can be commended on, is the respect that they have for the people that retire with them. If you are a young person under the ages of 35 you will be very frustrated by this organisation.
Best companies to work for in the Oil & energy sector.
