Deli Spices

Established in 1981 by Walter Haller, Deli Spices have grown into one of the largest and most respected spice companies in South Africa. The company specialise in spices, herbs, sauces, marinades, glazes, blends, soup bases, breading and convenience foods. Their quality control, research and development departments and training ensures them of being the 3rd largest spice supplier to the meat processing industry in South Africa. They are a proud family-run business with more than three decades’ experience and, as they state, they will “literally go to the ends of the earth” to find the best ingredients. They boast to hand-pick only the finest suppliers in the world, and to ensure quality they inspect their suppliers’ facilities, take their products through a comprehensive and a repeated quality control programme where each item needs to pass strict tests before becoming part of their catalogue.
