Hyundai Automotive South Africa, in partnership with Associated Holdings, ensures that the needs of all their customers are met and that the highest level of service is provided. Since Hyundai SA’s inception, they have established a network of over 80 dealerships in Southern Africa, including Namibia and Botswana. The company has a wide range of products and a reputation for maintaining high customer service standards. In 2 000, the team at Hyundai Automotive South Africa took on a challenge with the acquisition of the Hyundai franchise. Since then, they have grown steadily in vehicle sales. To ensure that they lead, rather than follow, in the Automotive Industry, Hyundai SA will continue to expand their model range, and facilities ahead of demand. The company has their own steel blast furnace to process raw materials, many of which come from Australia; this provides enhanced quality control over their products.

What I love about working at this company is that is that you meet so many different people daily and you gain so inevitable knowledge on engineering and the engineering industry.

"Too much work "
Added 08 Jun 2015 by a current employee
Working at Hyundai is bitter sweet. My colleagues are phenomenal people and the working environment is very pleasant. On the other hand, the workload is way too much and the salary is not even enough to sustain one person for a month. There is no growth opportunity. If you get promoted, you should consider yourself to be one of the lucky ones.

During the economic crisis leading up to 2010 world cup soccer Hyundai climbed were other manufacturers plummeted. Dealers closed mostly due to owning franchises. Hyundai survived because they had the dealer network. I cant remember the exact date, a dealer conference was held and most of the Hyundai staff attended. Stanley Andersons words still echo in my mind. He said that day, "you all can be glad that you work for Hyundai". Knowing full well that if so many of the other manufactures had not closed, and had not lost their experienced staff, Hyundai would not have been so successful today. They also contribute their success to good planning, were it was only bad planning from other manufactures. Hyundai took the opportunity when it was there, employing BMW, VW, Mercedes bens staff, people that know what motor manufacturing are about. This was when they started growing and then came the 5 year 150 000 km warranty. this pushed them over the edge. The point I am making is that, what I took from the dealer conference is that Management in overall in every sense of the word does not care about you. At the same conference he also stated that things will be run in as specific way and if you don't like it, the market is flooded with people who don't have jobs-this he said to all of us who carried Hyundai were they were at that point in time. I stood up and walked out.

"Best Car Brand"

Working for Hyundai is not for the faint hearted. It's a fast paced and dynamic environment with lots of exposure to a variety of work categories. You will learn about a broad scope of business here and you will be expected to be innovative and hard working if you are going to survive. Those who do, are driven and have a wealth of experience in a number of disciplines. The brand is also really great and the products are amazing.

"Hyundai sales feedback"

I was involved with new car sales at Hyundai Vereening for quite a long time .I am 69 years old,in excellent health and still runs my own kitchen manufacturing business .In spite of the fact that I have been very successful in sales with excellent customer skills, but when I tried to get back into sales I was told that I am too old!! I am in better health than a lot of people of 50 years old,but the company will rather appointed someone with no experience over someone who has a lot of experience,is absolutely loyal to the brand and who can still add very much value to the franchise .Apart from this company policy, I have had a very good experience with Hyundai and consider them an excellent franchise to work for.Their product range in my opinion is the best value for money that you can buy .

Working for Hyundai sometimes doesn't seem worth it, because you have to work long stressful hours and the pay is barely enough to support your family. The environment is friendly and working hard with a team. You learn interesting things and see new things before it comes on the market.
Best companies to work for in the Automotive sector.
