I was employed in Korbitec's CSC (Customer Service Centre) and I often miss the good old Korbitec days! The General Manager, though strict, was always fair and consistent, and treated me like a human-being with value to add to the team. Work is work and there are days where you would prefer NOT to do the admin or meetings you have lined up due to being human, but I can honestly say the mutual respect and support between me and my co-workers/managers was such a rare experience, one that I will cherish for always! No company is perfect and sometimes mistakes get made (especially if you try to innovate) but if a mistake is made managers own up to it and apologize/try to correct it. Packages are sometimes a little below market-related, but the work-life balance, the joy of working with other hard working people and everyone knowing what the overall goals and direction are will make up for it. There are also opportunities for advancement for those that can separate themselves from the pack and is willing to put in the time and effort into growing their own careers.
