The products they manufacture, supply and distribute include aluminium cables, copper cables, power cables, welding cables, fibre optic cables, OPGW and GP wires. M-tec boasts of various success stories including their full status as a SABS ISO 9001:2000 QMS listed company; the first cable company in South Africa to receive such status, converting from SABS ISO 9002:1994 to the version mentioned above. Furthermore, they are also NOSA 5-star graded, meaning it has been awarded 4 stars out of five on the NOSA 5-star CMB 150 Safety and Health System. Their CEO is Dr. Kyung Soo Kil.
