Masana Hygiene Services were established in 2004 with just seven employees, four of which are still employed there as industry experts in managerial and supervisory positions. They provide customised cleaning programs for a wide variety of industries, including the Commercial; Hospitality; Transport; Health; Industrial and the Warehouse industry. Even though they are in the industry just shy of a decade they have grown fast and now provide services to major clients in both the public and private sector, including various Gautrain depots, Sasol, Woolworths, Top TV, the Johannesburg Zoo and the Agricultural Research Council. Their services include not only office and restroom cleaning, and trash gathering and recycling, but also pest control, pre-occupation cleaning, deep cleaning and high-rise window cleaning. The company is proudly operated by 100% female management, employing primarily historically disadvantage individuals who strive to uphold the company’s vision of rendering a healthy, clean and safe environment.
