I second that Masscash allows there managers to abuse their staff. Unfortunately, they are very sexist and racist. Human Resources and the top management choose to ignore my complaints even with all the proof. I left Masscash as I was basically forced out by my manager and his right hand man. It was the best decision I could have ever made. Masscash was the worst experience od my life!

"Buyer"

I joined masscash believing I would be working for one of the best companies. From my first day I saw the divide between the different races. As the years went on, the racism and sexism got worse. Management and Human Resources turned a blind eye, because they are scared of the individual that is abusing the staff and just couldn't be bothered in protecting the staff. I left masscash and felt like I had just walked out of a very bad storm.

"Disorganized Masscash"

Masscash is full of promises, but with no end product. Masscash is following the same path as Metro group Cash & Carry's that closed down. Their is no new innovation happening in the lower LSM market where Masscash is suposed to be the leaders in this LSM 1 to 4. Good-luck to Cash & Carry managers that will be told what to do from now on. I have left Masscash and will be building the opposition game plan against Masscash.

"Promises..."
Added 13 Sep 2013 by a current employee
I have worked for the company for almost three years in a wholesale store. I was appointed as an administration manager, with the promise of further training and development to make a worthwhile career in the company. They changed my job description from Administration manager to SSO (Safety Officer) and never seemed to realise why I was appointed in the first place. I had no say as a line manager. I was disappointed to learn that they did not want to pay me for working overtime that they almost always required. The Internal Relations that management had was very biased and they have a autocratic perspective of employees are just there to do as they are told without caring what the cause of some of the incidents might have be. I realised they do not care about the well-fare of the employees as they claim they do and that progressing within the internal structures of the company is not going to happen. They implemented "new" ways of doing things, which did not happen a year later after it was supposed to be launched. Several of the key positions that helped manage back office tasks at HQ level resigned and left the entire company with a very negative outlook. All in all, most things were very unorganized, unstable and unsatisfactory and to be part of a team that was expected to give everything and do everything and gain nothing in return for it, even when they did more than was expected, played a big roll in my decision to resign from the company that I thought once would be the company that I would grow in.
Best companies to work for in the Wholesale sector.
