"Balanced Job"

I feel empowered in the industry because of the knowledge and experienced gained at Midas. Here at Midas we're like a family. We have so much fun, even during working hours but when it's time for serious work, we all bring our A-game. Simpy because none of us want to be the one to disappoint the rest of the team. The lifestyle and working environment is very balanced.

Midas in Vanderbijlpark do not allow internal sales people to take lunch. They work 10 hours per day Monday to Friday, 6 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on sunday, no overtime is paid for extra hours as they claim these are retail hours of work.

I worked at Midas/ Tonneson in Claremont for a period of 3 months. I had to leave as I went on to finish my studies. It became more than a workplace, it become a second home. I had an incident where my colleague/fellow cashier stole money from my till and management showed such empathy and understanding in the matter.I knew then that they cared for their staff. I do miss the staff greatly as well as the customers as I have built a relationship with the 'regulars' Big ups to Midas/Tonnesons in Claremont. Miss you big time!

Hugely empowering experience!! It is all about the individual, their interests, skills, skills development and self improvement to be able to deliver a better service. Personal interest from management makes a huge different and positive impact on any individual self esteem and produces a highly motivated working environment.
Best companies to work for in the Automotive sector.
