Mochachos Chicken Villages

The first Mochachos store was opened in 1994 in Pretoria. Known at the time as Mochachos Steak Villages, the store was one of the first outlets in South Africa to offer Mexican Dishes. The consumer’s demand for ‘exotic’ and healthy dining was the motivating factor for their concept: ‘Mexican Flavoured Flame Grilled Chicken’ combined with specialized Mexican Foods. However, Mochachos is not just about chicken; it’s about pride, passion, courage, integrity and most of all, family. Mochachos’ design and décor take advantage of the rich colours of Mexico which are blended into a warm and inviting ambience. Their customers are treated with ‘real’ food experience. The restaurant has taken great care to ensure that the cooking process is as healthy as possible by using dry herbs and spices. Mochachos Chicken Villages have franchises in Botswana, Zambia, Mauritius and Australia.
