"Better Payer"
Added 18 Jul 2013 by a current employee
If you want a better pay, join this company. Like any other organisation there are challenges as well, outstanding one is the steeply depreciating market for this industry due to accelerating technology globally at lower rates than this business. This turnaround is well visible in the print media. It is very clear that this alternative is out of the paper league, news print company. It is for this reason that the future or sustainability longer than ten years in the newsprint industry remains unknown.

"The company"

I was very surprised and possibly flattered when head hunted by Mondi Paper, but this was short lived. The company is/was far from what it was made out to be. Management in most cases was extremely arrogant with an incredibly autocratic style, staff for the most part, although encouraged to study, weren't encouraged to think, which I suppose is in line with a dictatorial management style. The irony is that, literally from day one to the end, 12 years later, the company underwent one re-structure after another, as a result staff morale was poor and performance (results) could had. Circumstances been different, been a darn side better. In general terms, not a company that I would recommend.
Best companies to work for in the Wholesale sector.
