The first lodge was built and opened in April 2001, under the banner of Lion Sands. Since then the Mores (the owners of More Hotels) have acquired the taste, passion and expertise required to be a world class Hotel and Lodge operators. For the Mores, what is most important is to create a collection of uniquely different yet equally comfortable, personal and professional run boutique Hotels and Lodges throughout South Africa. They see this as an exciting opportunity. The Mores say that their industry is incredible but you have to love looking after people and ensure every day that the detail is being taken care of. You should be attentive to detail and ensure that every guest always feels that consideration has been given to them and their well being. The More Hotels business has grown and they now have a location in four regions, namely Sabi Sand, Kruger National Park, Madikwe and Cape Town.
