Mxit

Mxit is an instant messaging application, running on multiple mobile and computing platforms. Mxit was established in 1997 in a University area named Stellenbosch. Through passion and determination, Mxit was initially released in 2007. They harness energies of mobile creative thinkers and change that into a positive aspect of change within Africa. Mxit is considered to be the fastest mobile phone market in the world which operates in several international markets like Malaysia, India, Indonesia, United Kingdom, united States, Nigeria, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain. In 2007 Mxit opened a European Data Centre in Frankfurt Germany to takeover international traffic, then in 2007 Mxit launched in Kenya, which was the first country, outside South Africa to have access to all the features Mxit has to offer. They are committed to creating and innovating new possibilities and solving new challenges.
