Newden

NEWDEN is a Private Company founded in September of 1969 but production only began in earnest in 1971. The company was founded by the Boardman brothers, Dennis and Newden, and still values strong family morals and ties. The company first began trading out of the Tsomo District but as it grew larger it was moved from the Transkei to Tutterheim where production began in earnest with 32 staff members in rented premises of 460 square meters. Another factory building was built in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, in 1985 and incorporated as Boardman Bros (Natal) (Pty) Ltd. The company produces various ranges of products including everything from petroleum jelly, disinfectants, insecticides, putty, solvents, candles, paint, glycerine nails & screws, cold glue, sugar soap and more. The company believes in the application of sound business principals the commitment of loyal and dedicated people to strive for and in service to its customers.
