Putzmeister SA, a 100% subsidiary of the global Putzmeister Group, develops, manufactures, sells and provides their customers with technical high-quality and service-orientated machines. They provide these machines in the areas of c and concrete pumping and distribution, systems engineering, industrial pump technology, tunnel engineering, plaster machines, screed conveyors and high-pressure cleaning. The global Putzmeister Group employs over 3 900 staff worldwide. They have a turnover of 1 billion Euros. In spring of 2007, the company reorganized their functional structure to enable the group to achieve their expansion targets more efficiently. They divided it into three main areas: PM Concrete Technology, PM Mortar Technology PMT and PM Pipe Technology PPT. The Putzmeister Service sectors include: 1.Parts Service- supplying guaranteed original parts throughout their 24-hour delivery service; 2.Technical Support- supporting their customers in Germany with a 24-hour emergency breakdown service, which is being expanded to elsewhere in Europe and overseas; 3.Knowledge Transfer- using professional, individual training and seminars to promote safety and economic efficiency in the concrete pump profession. Putzmeister has locations in Africa, Asia, Europe, Germany, Middle East and North America.
