Incorporated in 1998, Reakgona Commercial and Industrial Hygiene is a cleaning and hygiene company. The business was inspired by the owner through him working in a hygiene division company and has since grown to be well known in the industry. Their products and services range from cleaning services, pest control services, hygiene services to pot plants, indoor plants, water and dispensers as well as landscaping. The company has been working with large corporations such as the SABC and IDC and now operates nationwide. Reakgona Hygiene has won many prestigious awards since its inception and these include: the National productivity award, Eskom award, Quality Management certificated and IPM CEO of the year in 2012. Furthermore, Reakgona Hygiene are accredited and registered with the following institutions; Empowerdex, National Contract Cleaners Association, Pest Control Board of South Africa, Interior Plantscapers Association and South Africa Bureau Standard.

"Employees are exploited"

To tell the truth, this company should be shut down. The management expect people to continue working, without getting paid and without resources. If you are bored at home and you want to be a volunteer, this company is the best for you. 'Black' owned companies are a disgrace sometimes. It's a shame!

We always want to blame someone for our failures, but every employee benefits the most. Some say bad things but when you look at their CVs most of the experience is from Reakgona yet, most are employed with little or no experience at all. Yes, its not always rosy, but why always be negative. Late payments to suppliers with also late payments from clients. Most of the employees have been taken to good schools such as Stellenbosch. Reakgona hire employees when no one can take you in, but it's sad that it's those employees who say bad things about the company when they are better off. For I am proudly Reakgona and it's the best company to work with, lots to offer.

If you want to be frustrated all the time then Reakgona is the company for you. Late payments to suppliers and salaries is what it's all about.

With a good salary offered, there was so much hope, but after six weeks the outlook changed drastically with no support system, late payments to suppliers and salaries. I knew it would be challenging. You have to be strong and think out of the box. It's not for the faint-hearted ! Really not an easy company to work for and I wouldn't recommend them, even if I was offered a million.
