Sad to see a company that held so much promise, mismanaged in this way. I was a Sales Representative until 2011. Culture had for the past five years or so, been progressive and good team work with brilliant leadership. Sales and incentives good, annual conferences a highlight. Really, was a nice place to work.I left when I realised Sales Reps and others were no longer treated like the revenue generators and faces of the company we are. Treated like mere tools.

Brilliant product range. Closed door policy, no consistency. Management short sighted and gives no support, their image is more important than staff or clients. Huge staff turnover in last few years. No future career prospects for employees. It is sad that the South African division of the group does not comply to the international vision of the Smiths group.
