South West Gauteng College

The South West Gauteng College is a public Further Education and Training (FET) institute who operates with the backing of the South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) as well as the regional Gauteng Department of Education (GDE). They are also accredited by Umalusi and several Sector Education and Training Authorities (Seta's) to enable them to educate and train others in various vocational and part-time courses. Some courses offered are: Engineering studies, Human Resources, Hospitality, Tourism, Business Management, Marketing, Public Relations and much more. They offer these courses at various campuses in Gauteng; including two in Roodepoort, one in Dobsonville and one in Randburg. Their multi-campus endeavour enables them to reach various and often isolated communities. Recently they also launched their e-learning initiative, to enable those who cannot be at campus to work from home.
