SI is a leading brand in the hospitality, Leisure & Gaming Entertainment fraternity & thus possess professional team members who are passionate in the delivery of service excellence. All commendations to its effective & admirable management team. However more younger blood with race diversity should only augment Sun International in the future.

"Not a good company to work for"
Added 14 May 2015 by a current employee
I worked there for eight years, and in that time I observed favouritism, nepotism, cronyism and overall bad HR practices. Employment contracts are intentionally ambiguously worded and many labour laws are flouted, citing your signing of the contract as mutual agreement by yourself to the companies out of the ordinary demands. Working hours often overshoot the stipulated limit, sometimes even working double the allowed for up to 5 days in a row. Salaries are generally in keeping with the market for skilled personnel with very little consideration of shift work in those salaries. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

"Working for Sun International"

I'm a former employee of Isibaya casino and will recommend the company for gaining experience. One is exposed to various valuable aspects of the hospitalty industry that add value to obe's CV. Unfortunately growth is non-existent within the company and salaries are quite low as well. Overall it's a great company with benefits but not a company with growth aspects.

"My experience as an employee of SI"
Added 13 May 2015 by a current employee
My experience as an SI employee was terrible. I worked for the company for 2 years and was suffering from anxiety, burn-out and despair. My manager was the worst I have ever come across in the 23 years that I have been working. Staff turn over is extremely high which means that everybody is constantly dealing with staff who want to resign/transfer or who are still learning and therefore showing some degree of incompetence and lack of confidence.

I worked for Sun International for a number of years in the Surveillance Department. It was the best Company I ever worked for. You give them loyalty and they will treat you with respect. My personal view is that they are the best casino company on the market.
