Tsb Sugar (Pty) Ltd

Founded in 1965, TSB Sugar (Pty) Ltd is one of South Africa’s largest sugar producers and suppliers. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of Remgro (Pty) Ltd and are responsible for more than 30% of South Africa’s sugar output. They operate three sugar mills two of which have refineries, a packaging plant, sugar estates, cane and sugar transport and an animal feed division. One of their products is the recognised household name, Selati which is marketed under their subsidiary, Quality Sugars. TSB is able to produce in excess of 700 000 tons of sugar per year. The company also manufactures and sell various animal feeds, under subsidiary Molatek, using molasses and bagasse produced at their Malalane Mill. Molatek supplies approximately 290 000 tons of molasses-based feeding products and their feed range is used for dairy and beef cattle, goats, horses, sheep and even ostriches.
