University of Cape Town is one of South Africa’s oldest leading educational universities. The institution was founded in 1829 as a South African college. Thanks to the increase in government and private sector funding, between the year 1880 and 1900s the college developed into a full term university. The university is divided into 4 suburban and 2 urban campuses. UCT success can be determined by the various study fields it offers and by the standard of their graduates. The institution consists of six facilities; commerce, Engineering & the Built Environment, Law, Health Sciences, Humanities and Science .It also has 60 specialist research units that provides supervision for post graduates work opportunities, which includes more than a quarter of South Africa’s top researchers and academics.
