"Unhappy former employee"

I worked for the university for 13 years. There was no chance of job prospects. One of the benefits was fee remission but fee remission is only approved for certain employees. Staff are under paid. There is a lot of nepotism in terms of job applications and even though whistle blowing is encouraged it is only applicable to certain race groups. Hr staff are unfriendly and the top management are only concerned about themselves,. If you fall within the support sector your job is regarded as demeaning and not important. I was very unhappy and after the reorganization has taken place things have gotten worse. The company moved to the trp salary scale and as a result benefits got sliced away including leave and medical aid benefits. You end up paying for everything out of your own pocket and end up with a low net salary
