Giovanni Maiorana moved to South Africa in 1981 and started as an employee at Wonderboom Airport café, to date Giovani owns the place and is today known as Villa San Giovani (VSG). Villa San Giovani is Pretoria's most sought after restaurants and is known to be one of the oldest Italian restaurants under the same owner!
