Vitafoam South Africa

Vitafoam South Africa was established in the early 1960’s and is one of the country’s largest producers of Flexible Polyurethane Foam and processed Polyester Fibre. They are a divisional arm of GommaGomma Furniture (Pty) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Steinhoff Africa Holdings (Pty) Ltd. They have been manufacturing and operating for more than three and a half decades. They offer a comprehensive and varied range of products as well as solutions to a large number of technical problems in a variety of different industries. They have a nationwide footprint and they currently manufacture products in six locations throughout South Africa: Cape Town (headquarters), Durban, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, East London and George where they are predominantly in the furniture and bedding markets; however they also research and develop new applications and this has helped to lead to successful merchandise such as fire retardant foams, viscous (memory) foams and more.
