"Unapproachable / incapable management"

Management is unapproachable and unable to resolve issues on a daily basis. Workers are expected to work overtime, the majority of the time, for no extra pay. Full of promises during interviews, with no delivery once one joins.

Being able to work independently and seeing the results of your work. There are few chances of moving up the ladder no matter how hard you work. The salaries are not market related. Co-workers are helpful.

Office atmosphere - morgue like. It was not possible to do my work as I am qualified to do, due to red tape, stupid rules. It seemed the employees could not find better work, thus ended up there as a last resort. Most of them should be in an old age home. The IT department was very good and efficient. Top management seemed like nice people, but did not see them really, all in Gauteng..Only experience of one miserable office does not mean all are bad.
