"Copywriter "

I'm a copywriter at Zando. I enjoy my job because it allows me to be creative. I write content to accommodate the products when they're posted online. Zando is an online clothing store and I am loving the experience that I'm getting in the online space.

"Under Compensated"
Added 17 Jun 2015 by a current employee
I am not an employee of Zando. I applied to Zando as an accountant. I am currently working at a 'not so well known' company as an account and I get paid a decent salary. I have an undergrad degree in Financial Accounting. I decided to apply to Zando because they advertised a position for an accountant. I assumed the salary would be much more than what I am currently earning at this start-up business. However, to my surprised, Zando offered me less than 50% of what I was currently earning. I decided to decline the offer. I can't help but think...how many underpaid employees are currently working at Zando...

"Top management cannot be trusted"
Added 08 Jun 2015 by a current employee
I am currently employed as a fashion buyer at Zando. It is clear to me that the system on which this company operates, prove that those in charge have no clue as to what fashion retail is. There is no support from top management and they have a bad attitude towards those who work at lower positions of employment. I hope the management will soon wake-up and realise that the workers are unhappy there.

"No transparency and no growth potential for locals"
Added 15 Apr 2015 by a current employee
There is no growth potential for South Africans at this company. All of the internationals which are left at the company have been promoted to a "chief" title and have been assigned to a department but aren't qualified. They can not manage, educate and motivate the departments they are "chiefs" of and take advantage of the local talents' work as their own in management and supplier meetings. Locals are being discriminated against and the HR department is unable to do anything about this as there is no transparency communicated to the team. These internationals exercise intimidation and inhumanely behavior on a continual basis and locals are simply not able to complain or do anything about this as they are top management and HR is simply unable to do anything about this.
Best companies to work for in the Apparel and fashion sector.
