SUMMARY

Our client is looking to employ an experienced Business Manager at their manufacturing plant in Cape Town. You will be responsible for managing, developing, and growing the business and product maximizing its market appeal, optimizing the production capability, maximizing productivity, and presenting the business as the market-leading tube packaging business in Africa.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the following:

Engineering – Production and Technology
Commercial / Development / Marketing:
People Management
Compliance
Sales / Logistics Supply
Quality Assurance
Financial
Project Management
Reporting and Administration

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
Development in Management Skills, including Finance and Human Resources
At least 15 years’ experience in plastics manufacturing, with insight into tube manufacturing processes and technology an advantage
At least 15 years’ experience in a managerial role
Lean manufacturing, ISO, and Health & Safety Qualifications will be advantageous
Project Management experience
