Position: STORE BUYER - Bulk Store foods
Company: Food / FMCG Wholesaler and Retailer
Region Various positions available within various Regions (North West and JHB)

Requirements:
• Previous and Current experience of Buying of Bulk Groceries and perishables from within the food Wholesale and Retail Sector – Product knowledge is VITAL
• Experience of Bulk Stock Buying of Groceries (5 – 8 years’ experience within the Sector a must)

Candidate must have vast BULK Stock Management Buying experience from within the Food Retail / Wholesale Sector

Duties -
• Manage all Merchandise aspects within Store operations
• Stock management and Buying controls of Bulk stock
• Stock Buying and merchandising – Ensure bought stock is sold
• Dealing and Negotiations with Suppliers directly – Setting up Supplier sales growth plans and Margin expectations
• Manage stock, cost reports and reporting
• Market Price surveys – Price setting, Deal negotiations
• Marketing, building relationships with Suppliers
• Promotions – Plan and execute promotions and sales
• Trading with Partners
• Daily reports, sales budgets, meeting of targets
• Staff management and control
• Finance control
• Systems and procedures
• Maximise working capital, supplier purchase payment policies and procedures
• Stock takes and stock management

Salary – R 35 000.00 to R 60 000.00 Total Cost to Company (Salary would depend on area / Location and experience as well as Company discretion)
