Our client is a leading developer of connected, intelligent transportation system (ITS) solutions designed to improve safety, reliability and mobility. Their platform allows cities to manage all their traffic and ITS assets on one web-based application.

We are currently hiring for a C++ Linux Engineer in our Cape Town office. This position has a lot of potential for growth. The ideal candidate must have good engineering common sense, someone who takes initiative and is accountable for their function within the company. This position is for someone who wants to grow, take the lead on projects and has solid support and soft skills. This person will be working and interfacing with a wide range of people across Africa, US and India offices.

Creatively solving design problems (creating feature requests and design documentation and implementation) – debugging code-related issues – updating and optimizing’s existing code bases
