We’re seeking a Registered CA(SA) Financial Accountant for our client in the Mining Sector that is based in Kathu – Northern cape, that will be Managing the full sales and debtor functions.

Only Applicants with Mining Background, Must know Deferred stripping and Must have experience on Power BI will be considered!

Detailed Job Description:
Assuming responsibility for all taxes, including Income Tax, Mining Royalties, VAT, etc
Accurate processing of sales invoices, including compliance with the relevant
Letters of credit (LC’s). Ensuring timely communication/engagement with
customers to ensure timeous cash flow to the Company;
Tax and regulatory compliance;
Compliance with the requirements of IFRS and the Companies Act;
Quality Annual Financial Statements;
Assuming responsibility for all taxes, including Income Tax, Mining Royalties, VAT,
Diesel rebates, PAYE;
Assuming responsibility for the population of the Annual Financial Statement in
compliance with IFRS;
Assuming responsibility for the insurance portfolio of the company, including annual
renewal process and claims administration;
Providing the team with the relevant technical expertise in general financial
accounting and corporate governance;
Essential Job Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom (Hons)(Accounting)
Registered Chartered Accountant CA(SA)

1 – 2 years post article experience;
Mining industry experience
SAGE X3 experience advantageous;

•Must be from a Mining Background
•Must know Deferred stripping
•Must have experience with Power BI

Salary: R80 000 per month
Contract: 4 Months (possibility of an extension)
