The core responsibilities of a Company Secretary Administrator are to maintain and organize company documents, files and records, both in their physical and electronic forms. You also need to ensure ease of retrieval for the Company Secretary.
You will be required to perform the following duties:
• Obtain relevant information and documents from clients in order to register private, public, external, private liability and non-profit companies
• Conversions of close corporations
• Maintain statutory records
• Send out reminders and submit Annual Returns
• Make amendments to and register statutory details
• Register Beneficial Ownership with CIPC
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and industry standards
• Submit Compliance Checklists
In order to be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:
• Matric / Grade 12
• A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience – preferably with an accounting firm
• Knowledge of Companies Act
• Fully Bi-lingual (Eng & Afr)
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Outstanding communication skills
• Time-management skills
• Attention to details
• Deadline driven
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
