Compliance Coordinator and Administrator:
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the department head, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating with clients
• Prepare and maintain accurate and organized documentation related to projects, including reports, permits, and compliance records.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of compliance documents and admissions, ensuring adherence to environmental and industry standards.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth communication and address inquiries or issues.
• Manage project-related correspondence and maintain effective communication channels with clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor and track project deadlines, ensuring timely completion of administrative tasks and deliverables.
• Organize and maintain project files, including data entry, record-keeping, and document retrieval.
• Assist with the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support the teamlead in managing budgets and expenses, including processing invoices and tracking project costs.
• Coordinate fieldwork logistics, including arranging site visits.
• Help with the preparation compliance documentation, including assessments and project plans.
• The process involves navigating detailed and tedious tasks with creativity, and early mistakes can have significant financial implications for clients. Therefore, a methodical yet inventive approach is crucial for success.
• Provide general office support, including answering phones, managing emails, and handling office supplies.


Requirements
• At least 3 – 5 years experience in a senior administrative capacity in a legal, sustainability or compliance entity
• A completed Diploma or Degree
• Able to remain composed under pressure and embraces challenges.
• Previous experience working in a legal or compliance or sustainability practice will be beneficial
• Excellent communication abilities in both English and Afrikaans
• Drivers licence and own transport
• Exceptional administrative, organising and planning skills.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
