Construction Manager - Civil Concrete Structures/Incrementally launched Bridges (Site Based)

The company is looking for a suitably qualified & experienced Construction Manager with Incrementally Launched Cantilever Bridge Construction experience in particular.

Description:
• The position is responsible for the delivery of a construction project in particular Concrete Structures in particular water retaining structures such as WWTW and Reservoirs ensuring profitable, on time and quality completion thereof.

Formal Qualification:
• BSc / BTech/ND Civil Engineering/Construction Management Degree or Diploma..

Experience:
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the heavy Civil Concrete construction Industry. Extensive experience on concrete structures (i.e. Bridges, reservoirs, super structures water treatment works and waste water treatment works contracts);

Special Requirements:
• Client liaison.
• Report writing.
• Problem solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Scheduling and Programming of work is a must
• Ability to manage quality of Construction on site
• Ability to deal with and manage Subcontractors
• Extensive Technical Knowledge of Civil and building construction
• Ability to manage cost on the site
• Experience in health and safety on sites.
• Payment Certificates.
• Ability to complete projects in time.

Computer Competency Requirements:
• Computer literate in MS Office and MS Projects

Languages (Written & Spoken)
• Good command of the English language
