RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect and evaluate financial and operational data, identifying cost-saving or revenue-generating opportunities through thorough analysis.
Establish standard cost benchmarks across the value chain, analyze variances against actual costs, and investigate discrepancies
Develop comprehensive periodic and ad-hoc reports to support informed decision-making by management
Contribute to the development of business cases for new expenditures and perform cost-benefit analyses for potential process or business changes, including designing and maintaining KPI monitoring systems to assess their success and impact
Support budget preparation and implement a robust monitoring system, including generating monthly financial reports
Conduct market research as needed to align practices with industry standards and best practices

Requirements!
Possession of an Honours Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or Actuarial Science (including postgraduates holding CIMA, CFA, or CA(SA) qualifications, if applicable).
2 – 3 years proven experience as a cost or data analyst
Advanced Excel skills required (SQL, Power BI and other such skills are additive)
Advanced levels in Microsoft Office Package
Project Management skills beneficial
