JOB DESCRIPTION

DRIVER with a CODE 08 or 10 and Professional Driving License

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Loading of mail, Mail bags and other items provided by the client onto Bakkies
• Tallying the items received from the client and checking that there are no damages
• Completing details of items received from the client on a mobile APP before departing loading site
• Undertaking a comprehensive pre-trip vehicle inspection on the mobile APP prior to commencement of the shift
• Clocking in and out using the mobile App provided
• Ensuring that when deliveries are made, recipient sign the Proof of Delivery on the APP
• Recording kilometres travelled on the Mobile Log book of the APP
• Convey the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner in line with traffic legislation
• Keep the vehicle clean at all times
• Unload mail, mail bags and others items provided by the client at the destined locations

WORKING DAYS
MONDAY – FRIDAY,
Kindly note that this is a as and when required assignment, albeit working days are between Monday and Friday, the deployment of personnel is dependent on availability of work from the principal

WORKING HOURS
6:30 – 13:00

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Matric Certificate
• Code 08 or Code 10 Driver License
• PrDP
• No Criminal Record (Police Clearance certificate to be produced not older than 3 months)
• Smart Phone with good camera and internet connectivity
• Ability to capture information using a smartphone (Smart device, savvy)
• Sober Habits / No Alcoholics
• Punctual
• Presentable
• Well spoken
