Our client who is always making a difference within the retail industry. They view sustainability as being core to their business. The client is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Data Steward to oversee the management and governance of data within the group. This role will play a critical part in ensuring data quality, accessibility, and compliance with corporate governance policies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement guidelines to ensure compliance with data governance policies.
Manage data access and ensure policies are understood and adhered to.
Oversee data integration, migration, and cleansing activities.
Establish procedures to detect and resolve data-quality issues.
Develop KPIs and dashboards for monitoring data quality
Act as a subject matter expert for metadata interpretation and accessibility.
Assess and mitigate data management risks in projects.
Collaborate with technical teams to source and model data for analytics.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology
5 years SQL and advanced Excel skills.
Understanding of Data Modelling, Warehousing concepts, and BI visualisation tools.
5 years’ relevant experience in data analysis and integration.
