Our client within the Financial Services industry has an opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team as they are expanding their Technical Hub. You will play a pivotal part in automating software development pipelines for release whilst ensuring optimization as well as streamlining CI/CD Processes, implementing IaC and driving continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Automate and Optimize Release Pipelines through design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests and deployments.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code and templates in order to standardize infrastructure deployment and configuration.
Work with Back / Front – End Development teams to refine release processes.
Enhance deployment scalability as well as monitoring and troubleshoot, build and release infrastructure
Continuously assess and improve the release system to scale with increasing project demands and evolving technical requirements, leveraging containerization for efficient and portable deployments.
Developing solutions to enhance pipeline reliability particularly within Linux and containerized environments like Docker / Kubernetes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
3+ Years in DevOps, Release Engineering position specifically focusing on automating deployments and managing CI/CD pipelines
Technical Skills: Programming language (Python / Javascript) and proficiency with scripting (PowerShell / Bash / Python / )
CI/CD: experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, (Including integration knowledge)
IaC including tools (Terraform, Ansible, CouldFormation) within a Linux and Cloud based environment
Containerization: Docker / similar for deploying and managing applications within a containerized environment (Kubernetes)
Version Control and Collaboration tools : (Git for source control and collaboration) including tam tools like Jira / confluence) for cross-functional coordination
