Our client, a dynamic construction company established in 2020, with an impressive track record of completed and ongoing high-quality projects is seeking to employ an Electrical QA/QC. The Electrical QA/QC Engineer ensures that all electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems, comply with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role involves monitoring installations, supervising tests, and resolving quality issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Control and Inspections: Inspect electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power panels, for compliance with approved designs and specifications. Verify the quality of materials and equipment used in installations. Review shop drawings and approve technical submittals.
Testing and Verification: Supervise and witness electrical tests, such as continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and system commissioning. Identify and document non-conformities, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain quality control records, including inspection logs, test results, and material certificates. Prepare and submit progress reports to the Senior Electrical Engineer.
Compliance: Ensure electrical works meet safety standards, project plans, and local codes. Coordinate with contractors to address and resolve electrical quality issues.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical QA/QC roles.
Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical testing tools.
Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, lighting, and control systems.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications accurately.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
