We’re seeking Events Marketing Specialist for a backing sector in the Western Cape. To support the events and marketing teams in delivering client-facing events that enable networking opportunities that result in the acquisition and retention of clients while building and maintaining a strong brand and staff/internal events that motivate and educate staff to become brand ambassadors.

Start date: 1 February 2025 – End Date: 31 July 2025

MUST be currently living in Cape Town

Duties & Responsibilities:
Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals
Culture-building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc.).
Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives
Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes; systems and policies and support the implementation of new processes; policies and systems.
Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes newsletters; websites and attending sessions.
Courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers.
Meet client needs by evaluating post-event feedback to ensure continued improvement and client satisfaction
Create effective internal relationships by assisting with monitoring competitor event activity and maintaining market synergy and competitiveness.
Desired Experience & Qualification:

Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Relevant Bachelors Degree, National Diploma or IMM Degree at NQF Level 6
1 – 2 years experience in Event Marketing Specialist environment
