RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform ledger account and bank reconciliations.
Perform monthly review of the Trial Balance and processing of outstanding transactions.
Processing of payments on online banking platforms.
Process debit order collections on online banking platforms for our members.
Processing of all expenditure transactions in the accounting system.
Keep all supplier, procurement and CSD records up to date.
Processing of monthly journals for income statement and balance sheet items.
Perform annual fixed assets internal verification counts.
Prepare creditor reconciliations and monthly creditors age analysis.
Assist with preparation of management accounts and annual budget process.
Attend to regulatory and compliance audits requests.
Responsible for annual BBBEE certification process.
Communication with all relevant stakeholders.
Process all transactions for Fixed Assets – record updates, monthly journals
Prepare monthly reconciliations.
Prepare debtors management reports for students, members and customers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
CGISA qualification (with accounting subjects), BAcc, BCom
(Accounting), CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA, ACCA or any recognized accounting degree
At least 3 years accounting experience
Computer literate – Excel, MS Word, a recognized accounting package, Sage Evolution.
