Our client is seeking a Financial Business Analyst specialized in Internal Financial Controls to join their team for a 12-month role. This position offers a hybrid work model with three days per week in the office, with a preference for candidates based in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance internal financial controls to ensure financial integrity.
Conduct audits and assessments of internal financial controls.
Design and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor internal controls.
Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Utilize CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) expertise to enhance control frameworks.

Requirements:
Preferably a Chartered Accountant (CA (SA)) with relevant experience.
Proven experience in developing and auditing internal financial controls.
Strong background in process design and optimization.
CISA certification preferred.
Proficiency in financial reconciliations and data analysis.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
South African citizenship required.
