Our client an innovative agricultural company and the market leader in the supply of mushrooms growing mediums to the brown and white mushroom industry, seeks to appoint a Financial Manager in their Western Cape branch who will provide strategic support to the Executive team and ensure the financial success and growth of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

As the Finance Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the financial success and growth of the business
Provide strategic support to the executive team, helping to drive data-driven decisions and maximise profitability
Responsible for managing all aspects of the finance and operations functions including pricing, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, production, distribution, supplier engagement and reporting
Assist business in making strategic decisions about investments and growth, while also developing and implementing financial policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Primary focus on the commercial aspects of the business including managing pricing, preparing detailed budgets and maintaining our ERP system
With your deep understanding of financial principles, attention to detail and experience in driving commercial success

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

Relevant Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Completed articles or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
Chartered Accountant (CA) Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
