Head of Compliance Cape Town

Our financial services client is looking for a Head of Compliance with at least 10+ year’s experience at a Senior level.

Salary: Market-related

Minimum Requirements:

Matric with a qualification in Law (LLB) / Commerce BCom (LLB) or equivalent
Diploma in Compliance Management,
Member of the Institute of Commercial Forensic Practitioners, Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists and/or Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. (Preferred)
10+ years of experience within the Financial services/banking industry
Experience working with various regulatory bodies such as South African Reserve Bank / Financial Services Conduct Authority / National Credit Regulator, etc
At least 5+ years of Management experience managing a large team
Excellent working knowledge of financial crime, payments, data protection and licensing legislation, regulations, etc.
