Duties and Responsibilities:
General HR administration
Recruitment (job ads, screening, shortlisting, schedule interviews, reference checking, prep offers and contracts)
Onboarding and offboarding
Answer general HR queries
Assist and give guidance to Team Leaders on basic IR matters such as investigations and warnings for minor offences (by no means are they required to be labour experts, only regular reading to stay mostly updated)
Coordinate performance appraisals (probation, May and Oct)
Partake in EE/SD meetings, and ATR/WSP info reporting prep and /capturing
Order, track and follow up on uniform for new staff and existing staff
Attendance management and monitoring
Bi-monthly locum/temp standby (allocating locums during staff shortages)
Compile and present short training snippets bi-monthly
Maintain relevant HR metrics to support effective decision-making

Qualifications and Min Requirements:
HR Qualification
Good knowledge of South African Labour Laws and relevant Case Law (regular reading to stay op to date)
Working knowledge of how to do misconduct investigations
Good knowledge and understanding of EE & SD plans and reports
Good organising, prioritising and time management skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Highly Self-motivated and able to plan and prioritise
Able to build and maintain good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
