Seeking an Infrastructure Technician his role is a pivotal role in keeping our technology infrastructure running smoothly. Your expertise will ensure that our systems are always available, secure, and performing at their peak.
Minimum requirements
They will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions.
Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network equipment.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Monitor and manage network performance, ensuring reliable connectivity and optimal performance.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect IT infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes.
Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support infrastructure-related projects and initiatives.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement, support, and maintenance.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing servers, storage systems, and network equipment. Strong understanding of virtualization, cloud services, and network protocols.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
